This is the work of Cape Cod artist Stephen Roth, a celebrated practitioner of the art of palette knife painting.

Eschewing traditional brushes in favor of the sharp edge of a palette knife, Stephen brings a distinctive style and remarkable depth to his work. This little known “wet into wet” technique results in bold strokes, appealing textures and vibrant colors.

Stephen’s works can be viewed at his Orleans studio, or in various galleries and exhibits on Cape Cod. He also welcomes commissioned pieces.
